Aberystwyth Golf Club is a scenic and historic golf destination in Mid Wales. Established in 1911, the course was designed by six-time Open Champion Harry Vardon. This 18-hole, par-70 course spans 6,119 yards and offers breathtaking views over Cardigan Bay, with vistas extending to Snowdonia, the Llyn Peninsula, and the Preseli Mountains.
The course is known for its challenging layout, featuring undulating terrain and a variety of holes that test golfers of all skill levels. The first three holes present a particularly tough start, with significant elevation changes and strategically placed hazards. The club has a rich history and has evolved over the decades, with additions like trees and bunkers enhancing the course's difficulty and beauty.
