MY PHOTOGRAPHIC JOURNEY

My first experiences with photography were during lockdown. Stuck indoors, I purchased a modest drone and began taking pictures. I shot JPEGs and I left as many settings as possible on "auto". But what I saw inspired me, and had others asking if my new passion could not also become a new profession. Approaching local businesses, I began offering aerial property photography. "Can you also do interior shots?" led me to buy my first compact mirrorless camera; a Canon M50 Mk2. A chance encounter with a model resulted in another question; "can you shoot portraits?". I had no idea how to - so I declined. But I set about learning. I'm still learning.
